They told me the last time I called that it would definitely be done by the end of the week or the next week, which that would be yesterday but I didn’t get any update nor any deposit for food stamps. I don’t want to do that and then have to wait more months and if I just reapply again, it will not give me the past two months of food stamps that I missed that are pending smh. I mean food is so expensive and I’m obviously a single parent that is pretty much in poverty while I’m going to college to try to better our lives.
I have missed two deposits now at this point and food stamps is how I feed me and my son i picked up a job serving tables so and really don’t make that much and it’s part time it was the only job I could find to fit my schedule that does tips for me to make tip money daily to help pay for food everyday to eat. I don’t know who else to contact ! I had to ask my parents for help with groceries. It’s been 45 days at this point it’s ridiculous and they have no reason for it.
Hopeful that they can help, I know they’re extremely overworked and I’m thankful, it’s just been next to impossible to feed my toddler without any assistance since September.Īctually I have called numerous times and I’m STILL waiting. Will update once the senior agent picks up. He said he was going to transfer me to a “senior agent” and now I’m currently still on hold. This morning at 7am I got on the phone and was on hold till 8:30am to finally get someone who basically said he couldn’t see a single reason for why I haven’t been approved my benefits yet and that I should’ve received October and Novembers benefits on the 19th.
I’ve been calling them daily multiple times a day since mid-October and I haven’t been able to get any help. With no verifications needed on the main page too.

And my portal still says the verification needed technical question thing. I had my renewal back in august, had my interview in September as well as submitted all my documentation they asked me for same time as the interview. All you do is get switched from pressing one to press two to press 6 it keeps send you through the system and it says phone calls are not being accepted at this time I can't get a hold of anybody I've had complaints to the state up in Tallahassee I've had complaints to the complaint board and nobody is answering me. so why didn't I get approved? what's going on I need my EBT and getting on the phone with them is virtually impossible. and I'm eligible but my food stamps did not come on for November and it says I need no documents to verify. when I click on to the benefits summary it says verification needed technical question technical verification. I renewed on the 7th and when I renewed it shows under verification needed it shows no verifications needed but at the bottom it says verification needed verification needed to cross the board. I renewed online in time even before the date set which was October 15th. My renewal for my food stamps was in October.
